South African producer Jeremy Nathan, joint CEO of DV8 Films with Joel Chikapa Phiri, has produced numerous features, television dramas, documentaries and short films. His latest films include SMS Sugar Man by Aryan Kaganof, a feature film shot on mobile phones; Bunny Chow by John Barker and Dog Pack (Toronto 2007); Forgiveness by Ian Gabriel; Max and Mona by Teddy Mattera; The Flyer by Revel Fox; Boesman and Lena by John Berry; In a Time of Violence (aka The Line) by Brian Tilley; The Foreigner by Zola Maseko; Portrait of a Young Man Drowning (Venice 99) by Teboho Mahlatsi; Husk (Cannes 1999) by Jeremy Handler; Jump the Gun by Les Blair; Africa Dreaming, a 6 part series; and Ulibambwe Lingashoni, a 5 hour in-depth history of the ANC.

He is on the Cinemart Advisory Board of Rotterdam International Film Festival, SCRAWL (South African Scriptwriters Laboratory) and consulted for the SA Department of Arts and Culture and the National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF) on film finance. He is also on the Board of the Independent Producers Organization (IPO).
