Co-Founder, Dabble
Lisa Rein is a co-founder of Dabble, a video search engine and remix community, co-founder and first Technical Architect of Creative Commons, and a videoblogger since November 2002 (www.onlisareinsradar.com). Rein recently received her Masters in Broadcast Electronic Communications Arts at San Francisco State University (video.lisarein.com/sfsu/) and is a principal overseer of Wide Hive Records , a hiphop/downtempo/alternative record label in Berkeley, California.
Rein is Dabble's XML Geek and has taught XML for UC Berkeley Extension and the University of San Francisco. She produces a bi-monthly podcast, Songs From The Commons that airs on the Mondoglobo Network. Rein was the Copy Editor and Technical Editor for one of Timothy Leary's last works, the graphic novel Surfing the Conscious Nets.
She is a freelance journalist (Wired News, CNET, IEEE's Internet Computing Magazine, XML.com, OpenP2P.com, Web Techniques, Web Review) and a singer/songwriter/musician/remixer (www.lisarein.com) and
